Welcome back, Hype Squad!

Hey Ladies,

You know I’m all about the real talk. The conversations that make you feel seen and a little less alone in your mess. And this week on The Hype Squad, that’s exactly what we dove into.

I sat down with my friend and neighbor Morgan Symons, and whew… this one was a deep exhale.

We talked about grief—how it doesn’t always look like black clothes and casseroles. Sometimes it looks like carrying the weight of what could’ve been. Sometimes it’s triggered by a smell, a song, or a silent moment when life used to look different.

Morgan and I both know loss intimately. And what surprised us was how similar our stories felt, even though they unfolded differently. That’s the wild thing about grief—it shapeshifts. But no matter how it shows up, it leaves a mark.

We Talked About…

  • Losing people we love, and also losing parts of ourselves along the way.
  • How we pretended we were fine until our bodies and hearts said otherwise.
  • The weird pressure women feel to be “okay” all the time—even when we’re breaking.
  • And how healing doesn’t mean forgetting—it means honoring, remembering, and choosing to keep living anyway.

We cried. We laughed. We related so hard.
And most of all? We gave each other (and you) permission to feel it all without shame.

Why This Episode Matters

Because too many of us are walking around looking “together” while quietly grieving something or someone we’ve lost. And if that’s you? You’re not broken. You’re human. And you don’t have to go through it alone.

Morgan said something I haven’t stopped thinking about:
“You can hold both—loss and life. They don’t cancel each other out.”
Mic drop, right?

If you’ve been moving through something heavy, or you’ve been wondering why joy feels hard to hold… this episode is your invitation to sit down, exhale, and just be for a minute.

Come listen to two women talk honestly about pain, healing, and the beautiful mess of figuring it out as we go.

And if it hits home, forward this to a friend who’s walking through it too. You never know who needs to hear they’re not alone.

P.S. If grief—or anything else—has been showing up loud lately and you’re ready for support, let’s talk.

My 1:1 coaching container is open and made exactly for moments like this.

xo,
Charli
