Welcome back, Hype Squad!

Okay ladies, listen up.

Your menstrual cycle isn’t just something you deal with once a month—it’s one of your most powerful built-in tools for growth, clarity, and confidence… if you actually know how to work with it.

Whether you’re in your college girl era or your “I swear I ovulated just by folding laundry” era, this convo is for YOU.

Recently on The Hype Squad Podcast, I sat down with the brilliant Stefanie Adler—a certified nutrition consultant and hormone genius—who is all about helping women reconnect with the rhythm of their cycle and finally feel GOOD in their bodies again.

This episode is your permission slip to stop fighting your hormones and start syncing with them instead.

Let’s break it down.

Meet Your Hype Squad for Hormones: Stefanie Adler

Stefanie is that girl when it comes to hormones and fertility health. She’s been featured in places like The New York Post and hosts the Wisdom of the Womb Podcast (add that to your must-listen list).

Her mission? To help you ditch the one-size-fits-all “just take the pill” approach and learn what your body is actually trying to tell you. Because guess what? Period pain, acne, mood swings, and zero energy are not things you have to just “live with.”

The Four Phases of Your Cycle—AKA Your Built-in Life Plan

Let’s stop calling it “just your period,” okay? Your menstrual cycle has FOUR phases and each one brings a different vibe, mood, and power. Here’s your cheat sheet:

  • Menstrual Phase (Bleed Week)
You’re shedding your lining and your energy is lowest. Think: cozy, quiet, intuitive. This is your body’s built-in rest week. Don’t fight it.
  • Follicular Phase (The Reset)
Hormones are rising, creativity kicks in, and you’re suddenly solving problems like a TED Talk queen. Plan, brainstorm, take the leap.
  • Ovulation (The Glow Up)
You are magnetic. This is your most confident, social, radiant self. Say yes to the networking event. Post the reel. Text the cute guy back.
  • Luteal Phase (The Truth Teller)
You’re more inward, more discerning. Your body’s asking for boundaries and space. Don’t ghost everyone—but maybe don’t overschedule either.

Why This Actually Matters

Here’s the tea: most of the world runs on a 24-hour hormone cycle… aka a male hormone cycle.

Women? We run on a 28-ish day cycle. And we’ve been taught to hustle, perform, and show up the same every single day, even when our bodies are screaming “nah girl, not today.”

When you start syncing your life with your cycle, you stop running on empty and start running things.

Let’s Talk Birth Control

No shade to anyone using hormonal birth control—truly. But Stephanie shares how many women are handed the pill as a fix-all for symptoms instead of getting to the root of what’s really going on.

This convo is all about options—and feeling informed, empowered, and supported if you’re ready to transition off or explore more natural ways of managing your cycle.

Real Talk: Hormone Health Isn’t Just About Periods

Hormones affect everything: your skin, your sleep, your sex drive, your stress levels, your mood, your energy. (Ever cried because your sock fell off? That might not be about the sock.)

Stefanie uses ancestral nutrition and functional lab testing to help women heal from the inside out. If you’re dealing with things like PCOS, PMS, fatigue, or anxiety, this is your sign to dig deeper—not tougher.

So When Should You Ask for Help?

If you’re noticing that your cycle feels more like chaos than clarity—get help. If you’ve been on birth control forever and don’t even know what your “normal” looks like—get help. If you’re tired of feeling tired—get help.

Stefanie has helped women reverse PCOS, balance their hormones, and take back their wellness. The support is out there. You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Your Cycle Isn’t a Curse—It’s Your Compass

If no one’s told you this before: your cycle isn’t a burden, it’s a gift. It’s a built-in roadmap that helps you work smarter, not harder. And learning to tune in to it might just be your next level of self-trust, confidence, and clarity.

So light a candle. Pull out your journal. Track your cycle. Learn your rhythms. Ask better questions.

Your body has been trying to hype you up this whole time.

Huge thanks to Stefanie Adler

She brought the heat, the wisdom, and the realness—and I’m so grateful we got to share this conversation with you.

If this resonated, go binge Stefanie’s podcast or connect with her for support. And as always, stay close—because this community is built to hype each other up as we figure all this out.

You’re not alone.
You’re not broken.
You’re just getting started.

XO,
Charli
